A formvar coated grid, stabilized with evaporated carbon film. This type of coating is excellent for specimen support, especially for ultra thin sections. Coated grids are optically checked followed by batch testing in the electron microscope. Packed in grid storage box. NOTE: All film is laid on the shiny side of the grid. Formvar is approximately 10 nm thick with 3 to 4 nm of carbon.

MW 534.82 Da, Purity >98%. CK2 inhibitor (Ki = 0.25 μM), more selective than DMAT. Unlike DMAT, TMCB displays selectivity over PIM1, HIPK2 and DYRK1a (Ki values are 8.65, 15.25 and 11.90 μM, respectively) and a more favourable selectivity profile over a range of other kinases.

The glass discs are mounted in stainless steel slides with engraved serial numbers. Each slide is supplied in a polished wooden storage case. A UKAS accredited laboratory carries out measurements at selected points on the scales and grids and issues a calibration certificate.

These isolation tables support most of the larger microscopes and their support equipment. The air isolation platform effectively removes most removes most vibrations. The rigid frame has levelling feet which ensure the table is in excellent contact with the floor. The damped rolling diaphragm isolators have a low natural frequency of 2Hz which effectively isolates out vibrations above 6Hz, well below the frequencies at which typical building vibrations begin to occur. CoverWell Perfusion Chambers allows up to 16 different specimens on one coverglass. "Press-to-Seal" covers form water-tight, multiwall cell incubation or cytochemistry chamber when pressed to coverslips or microscope slides. Reagents can be quickly added and removed through dual access ports (1.5 mm Dia) without disturbing or cross-contaminating specimens in adjacent wells. Chambers are removable for permanent mounting of specimens. CoverWell chambers are made from medical grade silicone bonded to clear, UV transparent plastic.

Electron Microscopy Sciences C-Flat™ Holey Carbon Grid CF-MH-4C, 400 mesh Cu
C-flat is an ultra-flat, holey carbon-coated support grid for transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Unlike competing holey carbon films, C-flat is manufactured without plastics, so it is clean upon arrival and the user has no residue to contend with. Made with patent pending technology, C-flat provides an ultra-flat surface that results in better particle dispersion and more uniform ice thickness.
Patterning is done using deep-UV projection lithography, ensuring the most accurate and consistent hole shapes and sizes down to submicron features. The precise methods by which C-flat is manufactured elminate artifacts such as excess carbon and edges around holes.
C-flat holey carbon grids provide the ideal specimen support to achieve high resolution data in making them an ideal choice for cryo single particle analysis, cryo tomography and automated TEM analysis.

MicroMounts are the high performance tools for manipulating and mounting protein crystals, virus crystals, and small molecule/inorganic crystals, and other small, fragile samples. They are ideal for both conventional and high-throughput X-ray crystallography applications.
Each consist of a thin (7.5um thick) micro-fabricated polyimide film, attached to a solid non-magnetic stainless steel pin. Film is wrapped around the steel pin and it provides excellent stiffness and convenient scoop-like action in retrieving and handling crystals.
